The Fight Against Breast Cancer

But before you read her message, here is my experience with the disease.

There are many types of cancer. My father died of lung cancer in June. He was gone 3 weeks after being diagnosed. Farrah Fawcett died the next week of colon cancer. Patrick Swayze died of pancreatic cancer and we all remember Tammy Faye. Yes, they made fun of her everyday, but you couldn't help but love her. She was truly what a "Christian" is supposed to be. Love everyone. Accept everyone and keeping a positive attitude no matter what comes your way. 4days before her death, we saw images of her "current" state in a tv interview. Down to 65 lbs. Unable to breath. She bravely spoke, without her oxygen tank, still believing God would save her. He didn't.
I do housecleaning as a side job. One of my clients is currently battling breast cancer. She, her husband and their 3yo daughter moved from Rome, Italy to California hoping for better treatment. They hired me because she is unable to care for their home. She started out as a bubbly, friendly person offering to cook me authentic Italian food. Over the past few months, I have watched her hair falling out. I have watched her losing weight and I have overheard a phone call made by her husband. All I heard was 1 sentence, but it said a lot. "We'd like to set up an appointment for a radiation consultation." That means the past 4 months of chemotherapy is not working. She is still friendly and smiling, putting on a brave front, but you can see the toll it has taken on the family. If the radiation does not work, this man and his 3yo daughter will be alone in a strange country alone. Without their wife and mother.
Some people battle cancer for years. Some people are lucky, like my father, and die before they can turn around.
This is what Marian is marching for. To help people like this. I may not be able to afford much, but I will be donating today. Hopefully you will too.

and now a message from Marian:
I am writing because I am soliciting funds for my Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. I know that times are tough and money is a precious commodity. But there are many women out there without money, without information and without treatment. By giving up a lunch at a fast food restaurant or a cup of coffee from you corner coffee shop you can help someone. If you can spare $5 or more please send it. Five dollars can help a woman to or from a doctors appointment. Five dollars can deliver a meal to her home when she is exhausted from a procedure. Five dollars can help pay for medication. Five dollars can do so many things besides buy a lunch or a cup of coffee. Will you stand with me and give five dollars? Right now I am free from Breast Cancer, but at this same moment someone is being given the news that there are some abnormal cells in their breast tissue. Right now someone is feeling a sore, lump or discharge from their breasts. Right now someone needs to know that there are people tirelessly doing research so that no one has to be given the news that they have breast cancer. If you can't give money please take some time and help. Help by walking. Help by volunteering. Help by caring.
Thank You,
Marian Williams
Click here to visit my personal page.
If the text above does not appear as a clickable link, you can visit the web address:
http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR/MakingStridesAgainstBreastCancer/MSABCFY10California?px=1755913&pg=personal&fr_id=19783&fl=en_US&et=AnMqBs0BDQMN78NKgiUjrA..&s_tafId=359204

Micahel Jackson Was Murdered

What???
By who???
How???
Why???

Michael Jackson was murdered by his father at the hands of his doctor.

What makes me say this?

The day after MJ died, Michael's father, Joe, is standing outside the Jackson family home with Jesse Jackson and another man. Joe turns to the fans across the street, smiles and raises clenched fists in the air like his favorite team just won the Superbowl. Now something is wrong with that picture. I had a feeling that meant that Joe is now in control of Michael's legacy and music. Yesterday on the news, it was revealed that Joe and Catherine Jackson have sole control over MJ's affairs. Two days after his death, it is revealed that a museum for MJ was in the works for Gary, Indiana. Since MJ's death, the project has been put in overdrive. Moving the house they grew up in and the museum is going to be built soon. I am sure there will be one in Los Angeles as well.

Why would he have him killed? Because of these upcoming concerts. MJ was $500 million in debt. The Jackson family is broke. (Catherine was at Target yesterday buying toys and SLEEPING BAGS for MJ's 3 kids) Michael was having his concerts in order to regain some fame and restore his finances. The Jackson family was planning concerts for financial reasons. The only way they could succeed is to have Michael there. His concerts interfered with that. He may have also refused to perform in those concerts as well. He was the main source of income for the Jackson family...not including Janet. She wasn't part of the Jackson 5.

Now at least, the Jackson family can continue with the concerts as planned, but add the phrase "A Tribute to Michael Jackson" THAT will be a success without MJ.

Having Michael ruin Joe's plan, he had the doctor mix a combination of drugs to kill MJ. This way, Joe would have all control over MJ's music and legacy. He will have control of the Beatle's songs as well if MJ still had the rights to them. The sales of all recently purchased will now go to Joe. Merchandising sales will go to Joe. Royalties for using MJ's music will now go to Joe. Watch how many commercials they begin to appear in. The museum income will now go to Joe. There is potential for billions of dollars. The Jackson family will now...never be poor again.

Now part of the scheme is to have the autopsy results delayed for 6 weeks. That will keep MJ in the news for the next 6 weeks, boosting CD and memorabilia sales. Also, the Jackson family is ordering a 2nd autopsy for MJ. I am sure, no matter what the LA County coroner states, the one performed by the Jackson family's people will be much more CLEAN than the county's report. Of course, that clears the doctor of all suspicion. Then they can have the Princess Diana type funeral procession. First in LA and then a 2nd one in Gary, Indiana.

I guarantee that will happen(autopsy report)....and when it does....you will begin to believe what I just typed.

I was lying in bed....bored as usual, just thinking of new things to do. I've actually been thinking of this for a few days, but came up with an actual idea today. A porn comedy. They're always so boring. Same thing over and over and over. Let's have sound effects! Like when the first top pulls out, you hear a pop. Champagne! Who doesn't love champagne?

Billy, a young mormon boy, has completed his door to door training. His bishop has decided that it's finally time to send young Billy out on his own. Billy is so proud. He spends all evening practicing what he is going to say. He makes sure his clothes are perfectly pressed. In the morning, he showers to make sure he gets every speck of dirt off his body.
He heads out into the big city in search of a neighborhood that would be receptive to the church's message.
Door after door gets slammed in his face by a cast of wacky characters. It's near the end of the day. He is feeling really depressed because he has done so poorly. There is one more complex on the block. He decides to give it one more try. 2 more doors slammed in poor Billy's face. And in door #3, a group of gay guys having a poker night. Ohhhhhhhh how one of them hates mormons. He decides he is going to rip into this boy! Once he finally sees him, he wants to rip into him even more! But how do you get a young naive Mormon boy like Billy to give in? And THAT'S where the fun begins!

On a story about the firing of Miss California, Carrie Prejean, a reporter went to her home in Mission Valley. The reporter stood at the door interviewing an unidentified male. The cameraman is tucked away in a stairwell out of sight. He is filming the interview and you can clearly see the number of her apartment posted on the wall. They didn't state her actual address, just "in Mission Valley".
A minute later, they show an interview with one of her neighbors who was "not a sympathizer". The woman says, "she should have been smart enough to know how to answer the question" and "didn't nudie pics show up?" and then the bomb..."Look where she lives. La Mirage. It's like party central here"
So now we know Carrie Prejean lives at LaMirage in Mission Valley in apartment number....
Considering that she lives 1.5 miles north of me, you can kind of tell the mentality of people in this city.

She wasn't happy with her last cleaner and wants a weekly service. I charge $50 for 6 hours of cleaning. That's a very cheap price. I cleaned 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, dining room, living room, kitchen, stairs, upper and lower hallways. She was very happy. She said no one has cleaned her house so thoroughly before.
Lately I've been thinking of things I want to have happen. For some reason, it seems to happen...and quickly. Maybe because I yelled at the "spirits" who used to watch over me.
Saturday last week, I was thinking we need a new spot for the trailor on weekends. There is no business anymore and we have 2 competitors. Those competitors will bring too much attention to the health dept. Sunday, the district manager of the Northgate market stops by and tells me he wants us at his 7 stores. My boss had been trying to get in there for a year.
At the current location, there a twin Persian brothers who work there. One is gorgeuos. The other flirts and talks dirty to me. I wanted attention from the cuter one. The same Sunday, he comes to my car, offers me weed and looks at the drawing I was making. That suddenly made him horny.
Over and over again, I keep getting things I think about, with the exception of a job or winning the lottery. Recently, I was thinking, someone needs to file a lawsuit against one of the companies I worked for again. That letter came yesterday. I am now a participant in a class action lawsuit against Party America again. Last time, that money allowed me to finally leave San Jose. Hopefully this one goes through too.
I'm currently looking for an investor for my t-shirt business. If i get money from this lawsuit, I won't need an investor.

Warning for the Unemployed

I am currently job hunting. I have a resume posted on Monster. 2 days ago, I receive a call from Primerica. A division of Citigroup. Financial advisors. Investment firm. Based on my background, they think I might be interested in an opportunity they have. I really don't think I will be qualified for a job like this, but I decide to go through the process anyway. They schedule an interview for me.
I walk into the building via a back door. I was unable to locate the front door. I pass by a large window. In the room, I see a group of about 30 people in a class. Most of them are wearing t-shirts, jeans and such.
I go through the interview. I'm not very impressive. There is little discussion about the company or job itself. He does state that they are looking to open 4 more offices in the South Bay area of San Diego County. They have an untapped Latino market there and felt that this area would a great opportunity for them, as well as anyone who is on board with the company. He schedules a 2nd interview for me today.
The interview is more of a discussion with 3 applicants in the room. The man running the group tells us a little bit more about the company. He tells us about the things most people are looking for in their financial lives. He paints a picture of what most people's ideas are about their future. Then he paints a picture of reality and what they can do for their clients. He is discussing what we can do for the client. He never discusses our earning potential....which I am sure would be fantastic. Everything makes sense.
Near the end of the class, he discusses how we get into this company. There is a list of 8 fees we must pay to the government. There are classes we must take in order to do this job and a background check. The company itself will be taking care of the fees for us and handling the training classes. We must pay for our own background check. At the end, he hands us a piece of paper for us to fill out. He wants our feedback on what we just learned.
I get called into the office again by my first interviewer. He asks me how I felt about what we just went through and my interest in the company. I didn't fill out the feedback form completely and explained to him why. Of course I lied a little for one part of it. He did need me to indicate my level of interest in what they offered. I rated my interest as a 6 out of 10 and explained why I felt it may not be for me. After I told him how I felt, he said we'll schedule another interview so we can talk again. He wanted it for tomorrow at 1pm, but I am unable to make that time. I ask him about the $100 background check. I explain that I don't have the funds for something like that. He hesitates a bit and says we can probably work that out through a college loan or something. I then exit the office.

*BELLS GO OFF"
I kind of felt something was a little odd about this opportunity from the first phone call. I decided to continue anyway and just see if bells went off.

BELLS:
1 - my career background does not scream "financial advisor". My interviews were definitely not my best, but they continue to call me back for interviews.
2 - the 30 people in the training class do not look like financial advisors. I wouldn't put my trust in them based on their appearance and why are there so many of them?
3 - the goal is to expand into a Latino market. I clearly stated that I am not bilingual. They still wanted to schedule a new interview.
4 - we will not be working for the company itself. We will be independant agent using their name.
5 - the background check. I can understand why we have to pay. They just hired 30 other people and would cost them $3000+ per week for people who may not even make it.
6 - the "feedback" form was my personal information...including my social security number. It also asked for 5 personal references with phone number (only from the San Diego area) The only feedback section was a 1-10 scale on my level of interest in this opportunity.
7 - the college loan. Why would I need a college loan?

I believe they are a legitimate company. I do not think this is a scam. I believe their classes and training are going to be effective if we choose to get into the business. I just don't like the fact that they stated that they will take care of the government fees and provide the trainging classes. I didn't like the phrase "college loan" even more.
I know this was not a true job opening. I know that these were not true interviews. I think in reality, it is a way for them to make money. We apply for a loan with the company which they will apply towards the fees and training classes. Now we owe them money. After the training classes, it is up to us to open our own office and train a staff. They may help us doing that by charging us, including "franchise fees" Of course, we will owe them more money at that point. They did say that they are most profitable during bad economics times. That's because people fall for this.
They did not get my social security number or names and phone numbers of people I know. That was my lie. "I don't know 5 people here yet. I don't know their last names. I don't know their phone numbers because most of my contacts are via email."
That's what he said they will require for my next interview. YOUR NAMES AND PHONE NUMBERS. They aren't getting them because I'm not going back.

I came into this place with no job, no rental history, bad credit and 2 dogs. 4 things that would make most landlords/manager toss my application out. When people move into a place, they want information on EVERYONE that's moving in. Even if you move in alone and decide to get a roommate later, they want that info.
I told my land lady that "Anaheim" may be moving in soon. I told her why he was moving in. She decided to just let him move in and act as if he wasn't here. She said the only time she would acknowledge him is if the owner of the property asked about him. She would tell him that he just got here, say we discussed it and wanted his opinion what to do. If anything, he would suggest raising my rent. Other than that, she would do nothing.
She has protected me before. My rent was late, so she pre-dated my receipt so I wouldn't have to pay a late fee.
I really hope i don't lose this place.

We arrived to late to be allowed entry to the studio. About 11am, there was a fatal accident on the 5. The road had been completely closed, but about 1140 there were reports that 2 lanes were open. We took our chances and headed up anyway. We got stuck in the traffic. A 10 minute ride turned into almost 2 hours. We were expected to be in line at 330. We arrived at 5pm. There were still people in line...mostly from San Diego. At 520 we received the news we would not get in.

We decided to walk The Grove. A famous shopping center featured on TMZ almost daily. We didn't see any celebrities. We did receive info from an employee at the Farmer's Market that something happened at the American Idol taping. The stage had separated and the stage manager fell to the ground. After that, something had shattered above Ryan Seacrest. I'm not sure if the show went on, but judging from what the studio audience member's words, it didn't.

We headed out to Hollywood Blvd. I walked the path Dolly did in her new video "Backwoods Barbie". We also noticed part of the road being blocked off. One of the guys got some info and discovered that they will be filming a scene for a movie later. We finished walking the Blvd and headed out to In-n-Out. Once finished, we headed back to the filming location. Nothing was happening. We walked further down the Walk of Fame up to Vine St and turned around. When we hit the filming location, we noticed they were about to start. We hung around to watch. We were across the street and saw 2 guys dressed the same. We tried to figure out who they were. One looked like David Spade. One looked like the lead from Napoleon Dynamite....just older, heavier and uglier. They were to ride white horses down Hollywood Blvd. At one point, we saw one of the guys on the horse with a "waitress". About 30 minutes later, "the waitress" changed to the true star of the film. It was Christina Ricci. She is much prettier and taller in person. We were watching from across the street, but decided to head off to wear she was to get pics. At one point, she was less than 10 ft away. I'll post those pics later.

The actors were not who I thought they were. "David Spade" was a photo double for the true actor, Nick Swardson. The one I thought was Napoleon Dynamite turned out to be best known from Reno 911. The roller skating homo who gets harrassed by the police a lot.
Filming stopped at midnight.

We headed out and I arrived home around 245 am.

Good adventure

Water mains have been popping all around San Diego lately. This morning was our turn. I discovered this when I went to flush. The repairmen were already outside digging up the street.
When I arrived at home, they were still out there. Apparently, they were finishing up. The shower worked. The bathroom sink worked and the kitchen sink worked. The toilet wasn't working. It barely flushed. The water coming in was brown. A couple of hours later, I flushed again. Even less water. And it was still brown. I removed the lid to the tank and there was brown gunk stuck to the bottom of the tank. I was really hoping it was rust. I still think it was. That didn't explain why the tank wasn't filling. I decided to check the knob underneath the tank to see if it was turned on. It wasn't. Somehow the water supply to my toilet was turned off.
I really hope no one was in my bathroom because "Adam Hart" is suction cupped to the wall of my shower and I left the shower curtain open.

OOPS

I was walking through a neighborhood when I was working my last day for the US Census. I came upon one house. There was an attack Yorkie in the yard. The owner came out to rescue me and we began a 20 minute conversation.
She turned out to be an artist and former art teacher. We began talking about art and how she actually makes a living creating. She gets commisioned to do original works. She saves some of her work and does a limited edition series and the most important thing she did, helped me the most.
She said to get your name and your artwork out there, contact an organization holding an auction. Donate one of my works, tell them how much I want out of the sale and let them keep the rest. The first time, ask for $500. When they call you the next year, ask for $1500. She mentioned a few pieces she had done and they ranged between $5-10,000. Maybe I can make a living doing art. I just need the funding to get started.
Also, don't worry about my "style". As I go from painting to painting, it will come to me. My first 2 are completely different. One very serene. The 2nd is supposed to be disturbing. I sat down yesterday and decided to hand draw the vision I had of my first painting. I will get that posted soon in my artwork album soon. I also attempted to create my second painting image. It's a bit difficult and I will need an actual model for inspiration. Trying to capture "sheer terror" with just an eye is hard without it in front of you.
